ANNA ROZENBLAT

ANNA WAS BORN IN UKRAINE. AFTER COLLEGE SHE WORKED AS A TEXTILE STYLIST AND AS A THEATER DESIGNER AT THE YOUTH ART HOUSE. SHE WORKED ALSO AS AN ART TEACHER. AT THE END OF 1978 SHE MADE ALIYA TO ISRAEL WITH HER FAMILY AND IN 1979 WAS ACCEPTED TO THE GRAPIC DESIGN CLASS AT THE WITZO COLLEGE – HAIFA FROM WHERE SHE GRADUATED IN 1983.

IN 1980 ANNA HAD HER FIRST PERSONAL EXHEBITHION AND FROM THAT MOMENT SHE HELD EXHIBITIONS ALL OVER ISRAEL.

FROM 1980 – 1987 ANNA WORKED IN THE ADVERTISING DEPARTMENT OF A HAIFA NEWSPAPER.

IN 1987 SHE MOVED TO NATANYA AND STARTED WORKING AS A GRAPHIC DESIGNER AND ILLUSTRATOR FOR A TEL AVIV NEWSPAPER. THIS WORK WAS COMBINED WITH A COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING JOB.

IN 1988 ANNA MADE A PRIVATE EXHIBITION IN MUNICH – GERMANY AND GOT VERY GOOD REVIEWS FOR THIS SHOW.

FROM 1998 ANNA WORKED FOR 3 YEARS WITH AN AGENT WHO WAS PROMOTING HER WORKS IN THE USA.

IN 2000 ANNA COLLABORATED WITH A GROUP OF ARTISTS AND A GROUP OF RABBIS IN THE GREAT ILLUSTRATED TANAHK PROJECT IN JERUSALEM.

IN 2001 ANNA STARTED TO TEACH ART AT A CHILDREN CARE FACILITIES AFTER-SCHOOL. TODAY ANNA LIVES IN ISRAEL WITH HER CHILDREN. HER ARTWORK IS DESPLAYED REGULARLY AT THE STUDIO IN OLD JAFFA AND AT UNITED ARTS GALLERY IN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK.
